- Fraternidad Sacerdotal San Pedro en México, D.F.

¡Ave María Purísima!
¡Viva la Santísima Madre de Dios,
la Virgen Inmaculada de Guadalupe,
Señora del Tepeyac!

The past three months have been filled with blessed news about new apostolates for the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter (FSSP) in extremely important Sees.

First, the historic Collegiate Church of Saint Anne, in the capital of Bavaria, Munich, in July.

Then, the historic arrival in the most populated Archdiocese in the United States, Los Angeles, in August.

Now, in September, the official announcement of what had been expected for years: after years of only an occasional presence, the FSSP has been graciously invited by Cardinal Norberto Rivera Carrera, the Primate Archbishop of Mexico, to install a permanent apostolate with daily Traditional Masses in the diocese with the largest number of Catholics in the Americas, Mexico City, the capital of the great Mexican nation.

The apostolate, beginning in October, be will be housed in the historic Chapel of the Immaculate Conception of Mary (Capilla de la Inmaculada Concepción de María), founded on March 7, 1750, also known as Chapel of Salto del Agua (Capilla del Salto del Agua), in the heart of the city, on the Eje Central major roadway, right in front of Salto del Agua Metro Station, also near the Isabel la Católica Metro Station, and just a few blocks from the central square (the Zócalo) and the Metropolitan Cathedral (see map below):

Fr. Kenneth Fryar, who served as pastor at the Fraternity parish in Guadalajara for past 5 years, will be the resident chaplain at the chapel.

Congratulations to the Fraternity of Saint Peter and our heartfelt gratitude to Cardinal Rivera!

Mass times will be the following: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 7 a.m.; Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays: 7 p.m.; Sunday Mass at 10 a.m.
